SOF Week 2024: Day 1 Recap
SOF Week 2024 kicked off with a day filled with exciting industry sessions and impactful discussions. As the SOF community gathered in Tampa, Florida, the focus was on innovation, transition, and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Global SOF Foundation.
Industry Sessions and Transition Seminar
The first day featured several industry-focused sessions, starting at 11:50 AM. Topics ranged from an introduction to SOF AT&L to briefings by SOFWERX and more, providing a platform for industry leaders to engage with the SOF community.
The Honor Foundation's Transition Seminar was another highlight. Held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, it helped SOFs and SOF enablers transition from active duty and was a great resource for those entering new career phases.
Global SOF 10th Anniversary Reception
The Global SOF Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary in the evening with a reception at Sparkman Wharf. The event was an excellent opportunity for networking and reflection as attendees celebrated a decade of supporting the SOF community.
Day 1 of SOF Week set the stage for an exciting and engaging conference. With industry sessions, transition support, and a celebratory reception, the day showcased the strength and unity of the SOF community. Stay tuned for more updates as the conference continues!
